What is the basis for taking the bible as source for having a belief in God? A basic reason is because of what it says about itself:
Statements about faith by Professor Dawkins are used to justify Atheism and not believing in God. However he misunderstands and misrepresents faith as presented in the Christian Bible. Considerations are offered for why having faith is seen to be an inherent human attribute and not unreasonable, such that the object of that faith is what comes to be of significance.
